The Old Rectory, Musbury

This was a 12 week programme completed succesfully for SWH Build. We undertook the Carpentry, drylining and plastering package on this project with the end result being of a very high standard.

The builiding was previously built as a tripple garage with offices above to manage the adjecent care home. But with the demand for professional care growing the owners decided to convert the building into further rooms for the care facility. 

The ground floor was entirely converted into 3 ensuite bedrooms and a large communal area with fitted kitchen. Stairs were were fitted leading to a further bedroom, laundry room and a further bathroom on the first floor. Half of the first floor was retained as an office.

The project was of a high standard with Oak flooring laid in the communal areas on the ground floor and Oak doors, frames, architraves and skirtings fitted throughout. Windows fitted were an aluminium and pine composite and were similar to a Velfac window, unfortunately due to lead times these were not Velfac but were sourced from scandanavia where they know a little about keeping the weather out!
